Software Architect

A global FinTech startup is developing the world's first funding solution that enables merchants to offer personalized financing options to their customers in real-time at the point of sale. The product is active and sold in the American market.

As part of the role, you will join the company as a lead software architect, serving as a key technical leader and driving force within the company, reporting to the VP of R&D. The technological stack (with a focus on backend) includes C#, .NET Core, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, microservices, and MongoDB.

The company recently completed a Series B funding round, raising a total of $60 million.

With approximately 90 employees globally, half of whom are located in the development center in Israel, the company is situated near the Tel Aviv train station and offers a hybrid work model with 2 days of remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define architectural approaches and integration engineering specifications

• Work closely with solutioning and product management teams

• Provide architectural oversight and technical guidelines to engineering teams

• Negotiate trade-offs and drive issues to closure

• Evaluate new technologies and develop technical POCs

• Help to steer the architectural priorities in the R&D domain

Must-Have:

• 5 years of hands-on programming experience in C# and .NET Core

• Two years of technical leadership as an Architect or Tech Lead in distributed systems

• Two years of experience in design of external APIs and integrations

• One years of hands-on programming experience in JS\TS and React

• Experience in working with Public Cloud and container management tools

• B.Sc. in Software or Computer Engineering
