R&D Delivery System Engineer

a part of the R&D Delivery System team responsible for the development of a cardiac technology medical device product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• the mechanical design aspects of the delivery system: design specifications, mechanical design and transfer to production.
• with outside vendors for outsourcing design, component selection, manufacturing and assembly.
• perform and analyze results of R&D and Verification tests and writing test reports.
• on design and testing execution.

Basic Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s degree at mechanical engineering from known university.

• At least 2 years of mechanical product development experience.

• Experience in the medical device field (preferred in the Cardio-vascular field/Catheters) – an advantage

• Experience in mechanical design of high precision parts and mechanisms – an advantage

• Knowledge and application of GD&T.

• Highly Experienced at Solid Works CAD software.

Preferred Knowledge, Languages, Skills, And Abilities

• Knowledge in Mechanical mechanisms.

• Knowledge in manufacturing processes.

• Good understanding of medical device standards, guidelines, and regulations.

• The ability to work in R&D mode as well as GMP environment.

• Languages: English – Proficient; Hebrew – Fluent.

• Skills: Team player, responsible, creative, organized, able to work in a dynamic environment.
