The Center for Educational Technology (CET) is an independent organization dedicated to advancing education in Israel and beyond. We develop innovative products for students and teachers in the field of education: Digital learning environments, courses, educational games, and more. As part of our activities, we procure products and services, including outsourcing, and negotiate contracts with suppliers in various areas.

We’re looking for a highly talented buyer to join our purchasing team and be responsible for end-to-end procurement processes and outsourcing.

Responsibilities:

• Source and identify qualified suppliers for goods and services.
• Manage and track RFQ according to procurement procedure .
• Oversee the procurement process, ensuring adherence to company policies and best practices.
• Manage contracts, including defining service content, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance.
• Lead procurement and operational projects, focusing on streamlining processes and cost reduction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, providing exceptional service.
• Collaborate effectively with legal counsel and the finance department.
• Monitor service delivery and evaluate supplier performance.
• Generate and track purchase orders within the SAP system.
• Enforcing procurement policies and regulations, managing and monitoring procurement processes in information systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement processes and contract management.
• Relevant bachelor's degree or certification in procurement and logistics – an advantage.
• Prior experience in contract negotiation and outsourcing.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Technological orientation, proficient in Excel, experience with ERP system (SAP - an advantage).
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English - an advantage.
