Software Engineer Team Lead

A startup company developing multi-disciplinary solutions for neutralizing drones in security scenarios. Their product is an advanced autonomous platform that detects, identifies, and neutralizes unmanned aerial vehicles by taking control of them and landing them in a pre-defined area.

The product is sold to private, governmental, and military customers.

It's a privately-owned company with clients in the USA, Canada, and Asia.

The role involves managing a team of 5 employees, with approximately 30% hands-on work, reporting to the head of the software team. Development is done in Python and C++ in a Linux environment.

Located in the Sharon region, operating under a hybrid model with 2 days remote work. Established in 2017, they currently have around 130 employees.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience leading engineering team (3 SW Engineers or more)

• 5 years of hands on software development experience in C, C++, and/or Python

• Outstanding team player with strong communication skills

• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering / relevant army course experience

• Deep understanding at Linux system-level programming and Linux operating system

• Highly experienced in SW methodology for design, testing, CI, tools, code review and overall SW quality.

• Hard worker, ability to work independently in complex environment, with high sense of urgency, ownership and eagerness to work on a diverse set of software challenges
