FINOPS

Responsibilities:

• Solve business problems through innovation, automation, and cloud engineering best practices
• Assist projects with cloud budget, analyzing and optimizing cloud spend
• Drive optimization through discovery, development, and sharing of cost-saving opportunities e.g., translating financial insights & your cloud knowledge into actionable recommendations
• Maintain and develop a working interface with financial and technical teams to gather business requirements, identify capability gaps, and strive for optimal enterprise solutions
• Continuously seek out new technology trends and best practices in Cloud FinOps
• Participate and/or conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with business partners

Primary Skills:

• Experience in Cloud FinOps / Cloud spend optimization
• Experience with cloud management platforms or cloud billing systems
• Experience with cloud economics, Azure/GCP/AWS services, and AZURE/GCP/AWS pricing models
• Experience in the development of automation processes with cloud service vendors-Advantage
• Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines in Enterprise organization -Advantage
• Knowledge of K8S-Advantage
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
