Roles and Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will

• Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure
• Collaborate with product leaders, system engineers, software architects, developers and devops engineers to implement solutions and support improvements
• Build microservices using technologies and platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS native
• Apply principles and methodologies like Agile SCRUM, CI, software and product security, scalability, documentation Practices, refactoring, and testing techniques
• Write code and unit-tests that meet quality standards and deliver desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
  
  

Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen

• Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
  
  

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
  
  

Desired Skills

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions on AWS platform, including the development of AWS CDK or CloudFormation templates (CFT) for infrastructure provisioning and management
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python or Node.js development
• Experience in developing serverless solutions on AWS
• Working experience in developing scalable microservices with Kubernetes
• Experience in building RESTful web APIs with at least one of the following frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django, Spring)
• Working experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Experience operating in a highly secure environment that conforms to various regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• High coding and unit-testing skills
• Working experience with git source control systems
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum development methodology and principles. Aware of and able to apply continuous integration
