Junior Incident Responder

We specialize in providing solutions for intelligence gathering, endpoints and servers investigation, and network communication analysis. Our defensive and offensive expertise includes incident response, cyber intelligence, vulnerability assessment, cyber training, tactical intelligence, red teaming, blue teaming, penetration testing, threat modeling, compliance and regulation, proofs of concept, new technology assessment, and policy and procedure writing.

Role Description

As a Junior Incident Responder at CYCON Security, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with incident response. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Tel Aviv District, Israel, with flexibility for some remote work. You will collaborate with the team to investigate and respond to security incidents, identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, and ensure the overall security posture of our clients. You will utilize our CYCON-IO platform to analyze suspicious behavior, identify the source of attacks, and block malicious communication against our clients' networks.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies and tools
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
• Familiarity with network communication protocols and concepts
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages
• Understanding of threat intelligence and its application in incident response
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with various EDR and SIEM solutions.
• Strong understanding of syntax for yet-learned Defense Query Languages
• Certificates in the fields of Penetration Testing and SOC, are a plus.
