Associate Software Engineer (part-time)

The Associate Software Engineer (part-time) role in Tricentis provides you with a unique opportunity to work on an impressive technology landscape, involving many of the most popular tools and cloud platforms of today. You will work on Tricentis Testim, a product that uses AI to speed the authoring, execution, and maintenance of automated tests. Testim learns from every execution, self-improving the stability of test cases, resulting in a test suite that doesn’t break on every code change.

Testim’s enterprise customers include Salesforce, Autodesk, Microsoft, Wix.com, JFrog, and others who rely on Testim to build stable automated tests to speed their development cycles and improve their CI/CD processes.

In this role, you will apply your skills and knowledge to expand our product's capabilities. This involves designing and developing features using the latest technologies and adhering to best practices. You will also engage in close communication with team members and the Product Owner to align with the business's expectations and goals.

In This Role, You Will

• Develop advanced software solutions, focusing primarily on Typescript (full-stack, Node.js), to facilitate end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications.
• Oversee all stages of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring high standards in performance, scalability, and security.
• Utilize a range of technologies, including MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, and AWS, working with both open-source platforms and enterprise-grade systems.
• Commit to a culture of continuous learning and improvement, staying abreast of new developments and techniques in software engineering.
• Assume full responsibility for the testing and overall quality of your code, contributing to the robustness and reliability of our products.
• Actively participate in team discussions, challenging and contributing to decisions to achieve the best results for our organization.
  
  

• Last year of Bachelor's degree student in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A solid understanding of browser behavior, including knowledge of DOM events, iframes, and extension content scripts.
• You have fluency in English, enabling effective communication in a diverse, global work setting.
  
  

• Proficiency in system architecture and design, demonstrating an ability to conceptualize and implement effective software solutions. (bonus)
• Hands-on experience with various databases, including MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis, showcasing skills in data management and optimization. (bonus)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure, indicating a comprehensive approach to software development and deployment. (bonus)
