Senior Infrastructure Purchasing Buyer

NVIDIA (Networking Business Unit) is looking for a bright, focused, analytical and motivated Infrastructure Purchasing buyer to join the procurement team. NVIDIA Networking division is a leading supplier of innovative end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet connectivity solutions and services for servers and storage. We offer market-leading solutions that include adapter cards, switches, cables, and software to support networking technologies. Our products optimize data Center performance and deliver industry-leading bandwidth and scalability, including high performance computing, enterprise, data centers, cloud computing, Web 2.0. What You Will Be Doing

• Act as purchasing buyer for Networking production infrastructure demands: Jigs, test stations IT & test equipment, machines and more.
• Negotiate cost and procurement terms.
• Partner with PE (Product engineering) / HW and production teams on the long-term infrastructure designs.
• Maintain business relationships with tier 1 suppliers, act as an escalation in case of quality issues, expedite / cancelation requests / finance issues.
• Take part in design-to-cost decisions, making sure that cost is designed “into the product”.
• Define tier 1 manufacturers list based on multiple requirements: Quality, service level, cost, LT and more.
• Work with different teams on long term contracts and SLA’s (legal teams, HW engineers, production teams).
• Engineering changes management in front of suppliers.
• Identify tools and methods to improve supply chain activities, drive for automatic tools such as Power BI.
• Ensure timely delivery of POs and update of ERP system.
  
  

What We Need To See

• Relevant academic degree.
• 5+ years experience in Supply Chain Planning/Procurement (relevant experience in Infrastructure Procurement- advantage)
• Solid understanding of electronics industry supply chain.
• Negotiation skills
• Strong communication and experience working with manufacturers in global regions. English proficiency required.
• Team player, work under short deadlines
• Experience with of MS Excel; Power BI, or similar data visualization tools experience a plus.
• Drive strategic purchasing methodologies and monitor data validation through analytics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data.
