We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Corporate Services, Procurement Service Center team. The Procurement Service Center Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the procurement team, ensuring efficient and effective procurement processes, and providing leadership and guidance to team members. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of procurement best practices.
What will your job look like?
- Led and managed a team of 5 buyers to ensure the timely and accurate processing of purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement-related processes.
- Monitor team performance (SLA, quality, service level, etc)
- Enforce procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Legal, finance business units etc.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated procurement issues and resolve conflicts or disputes on time.
- Conduct regular meetings with team members to communicate objectives, and expectations, and provide updates on departmental initiatives.
- Prepare and present reports on the team’s progress, performance, and trends to management.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Solid understanding of procurement principles, practices, system (SAP advantage), and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and objectives.
