What's Guardio?

Guardio is a B2C cybersecurity startup offering security and privacy solutions directly to consumers - regular people, not corporate companies. We develop products you’d want for yourself, your parents, family, and friends. Our goal is to protect real people from cyber problems and crime. We try and avoid buzzwords, but sometimes those keywords are necessary: we help our customers avoid and combat the modern world’s security threats, like phishing, financial scams, malware, browser hijacking, identity theft, data leaks, and a whole lot more.

Guardio is a relatively small company (we just passed 70 people) on a rapid growth path, and we’re looking for core team members to join our Growth team. We already have well over a million registered customers and plenty of new products and features in the pipeline.

So, what's the job?

We are looking for a Controller - Replacement for maternity leave to join Guardio's finance team.

You will:

• Manage the financial operations of the company, including collections, payments, suppliers and authorities.
• General accounting – GL maintenance, reconciliations, monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes.
• Manage the in-house bookkeeping and review the accuracy of financial data (A/R, collection, A/P, etc..).
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for financial operations and manage the financial systems and tools.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company objectives and operations.
• Assist with the preparation of management reports.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.
• Work closely with the Company's external auditors and consultants.

Well, our guess is you have a good chance of being that person if you check as many of these as possible:

• CPA with experience in a Big 4 accounting firm - a must
• 4+ years of relevant experience in a tech company
• Proficient knowledge of US GAAP
• Excellent English - a must
• Managerial experience - a must
• A team player, highly organized with a proactive approach
• Strong EXCEL and Office skills
