Senior Buyer

We're seeking a Senior Buyer to join our procurement team at Gilat Satellite Networks. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in managing our technological procurement activities, overseeing the Tech spend (IT/MIS/R&D) category, and ensuring optimal vendor agreements and purchasing procedures.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs.
• Guide colleagues from the global procurement team to achieve objectives.
• Conduct market research and assess industry trends.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Develop and maintain procurement metrics to measure performance.
• Communicate procurement strategies and results to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in strategic procurement from a global company.
• Experience multidisciplinary HW products , particularly hardware, SaaS, AWS cloud providers, consultants, and integration companies.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices.
