Senior Algorithm Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

· Drive the design, development, and optimization of very large, phased array algorithms for satellite to ground communication,including simultaneous hundreds of beams tracking, optimization, shaping and dynamic pointing.

· Self-array calibration under constraints of satellite environment during service operation.

· Communication chains signal processing, distortions compensation, synchronization mechanisms.

· Conduct performance evaluation, simulations, and analysis to account for the unique characteristics of satellite communication systems, such dispersive

Doppler effects, interference cancelation, variable channel conditions etc.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams,including system engineers, FPGA, RF engineers, software developers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of algorithmic solutions in satellite communication products.

· Lead the resolution of complex algorithmic issues, troubleshoot space-specific problems, and provide innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability in satellite communication applications.

Qualifications:

· Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

· Proven experience in algorithm development for wireless communication systems and signal-processing algorithms

· Strong knowledge of beamforming techniques, antenna arrays, – advantage

· Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, or other relevant programming languages commonly used in algorithm development for wireless systems.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and translate them into efficient algorithmic solutions for space-based applications.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Proactive mindset, self-motivated, and capable of leading projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Advantages
