Through managing the day-to-day credit risk processes, Citi’s IRAU team plays a pivotal role in supporting Citi’s mission. We are seeking preferably English, Hebrew, French or Russian speaking Credit Risk Analysts to join this dynamic team. Your job will be focused on the production of Transactions, Annual Renewals and Portfolio & Industry reviews, while providing support to a variety of tasks related to credit risk analysis.

What You’ll Do

• Assess the credit and financial strength of Citi’s Financial Institutions Clients, Public Sector and Corporate Clients based in MEA region by performing fundamental credit analysis of counterparties using both quantitative and qualitative factors.
• Complete Credit Analysis write-up memos and assign internal ratings based on independent assessment and judgement completed on the due diligence of the client and industry knowledge.
• Continuous monitoring of the covered portfolio, including following industry trends, impacts to key relationships, and escalation of potential credit issues to Credit Risk UWs and Team Leads, Risk and Banking partners.
• Partnership with applicable regional and industry stakeholders in Banking and Independent Risk in the implementation of credit assessment and monitoring standards for applicable portfolios.
  
  

What We'll Need From You

• 0-2 years relevant experience in Banking, Credit Risk Management or equivalent credit experience.
• Strong proficiency in English and Hebrew- must have, French or Russian an added advantage (written and verbal).
• Fundamental analytical skills, including an understanding of key financial components (liquidity position, leverage profile) with the ability to identify root causes and trends and anticipate horizon issues.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of financial statements.
• Displays basic industry research capabilities, including risk and key drivers.
• Basic understanding of credit policy and procedures; proactively refers to resources as needed.
• Demonstrates ability to identify potential risk issues that need escalation and escalates them promptly.
