Development and Communications Coordinator

Amal-Tikva seeks a responsible, detail-oriented, highly organized team player to join our staff as the Amal-Tikva development coordinator. As a core member of the Amal-Tikva team, this role will support Amal-Tikva’s fundraising, communications, and data management. The successful candidate will love writing and creating order, and of course will demonstrate optimism toward and commitment to building a more peaceful reality between Israelis and Palestinians.

Key Responsibilities:

• ● Support the development of communications and fundraising plans, including newsletters, social media, speaking engagements, and fundraising trips.
• ● Write grant proposals, reports and resources for external partners.
• ● Research potential new avenues for income generation.
• ● Provide administrative support to Amal-Tikva’s development team.
• ● Maintain the organization’s CRM system.
• ● Support Amal-Tikva staff in designing and distributing marketing and communications materials for programs and events.
• Qualification Requirements:
• ● Passion for Amal-Tikva’s mission to build capacity for sustainable and scalable peacebuilding between Israelis and Palestinians
• ● Excellent written English, high-level spoken Arabic and/or Hebrew
• ● Calm demeanor and ability to manage diverse tasks in a dynamic environment
• ● Experience in fundraising and communications
• ● Strong teamwork skills, including in a multinational, multicultural team
• ● CRM and data management experience

• Scope of Work:
• ● This is a part time (50-75%) position with opportunities for growth and professional
• development.
• ● The salary scale will be based on a 9000 NIS/month full-time gross salary.
• ● This position works closely with Amal-Tikva’s CEO and reports directly to the CSO.
• ● The candidate must be available to work in person in Jerusalem and be available for
• occasional evening meetings via zoom or in person, and a once annual trip abroad.
