AWS Infrastructure Specialist

STARTICA is looking for a Kafka / AWS Data Infrastructure Specialist.

Job responsibilities include:

• Kafka expert with knowledge of databases.
• Defining and managing database features, including architecture, access control, encryption and controls.
• Project support, troubleshooting, professional and architectural-infrastructural consulting.
• Study and examination of new products and components based on and linked to AWS infrastructures.

Who we are looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience and knowledge of the Linux operating system - mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years in Kafka infrastructures - mandatory.
• Experience managing databases in AWS - an advantage.
• Understanding of distributed streaming platforms, experience with Confluent Kafka preferred - an advantage.
• Familiarity with MSK, Glue and other tools - an advantage.
• Proven experience working with databases - an advantage.
• Ability to work at unusual hours if necessary - mandatory.
