Associate Researcher

We are seeking a biologist to join the biological production team.

The position includes:

- Running the tissue culture lab logistics: cell authentication, contamination tests, and overseeing proper use of our TC facilities in aspiration to constantly improve cell line validity and sterility.

- Conduct assay validation and automation experiments: transferring manual experiments to automation using robotic instruments available on-site

- Lead tRNA production optimization

Key responsibilities:

• Tracking, maintaining, and forecasting materials and consumable supplies using our internal stock-taking systems.
• Receiving and proper storage of incoming supplies.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly laboratory environment
• Aid in the creation and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Develop and implement safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).

Education, experience, and other requirements:

• B.Sc*/M.Sc. degree in Biology, medical laboratory, or related fields.
• M.Sc. with 3+ years; B.Sc. with 5+ years of Biotech/pharma industry is required.
• High motivation and drive.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• English – fluent in speech/writing
• Relevant methods: Immunofluorescence, PAGE, Western blot, Fluorescence polarization, HTRF, Click-IT AHA, Cell-Titer Glo, Myco-alert, ELISA, HPLC
• Mammalian cell culture experience and aseptic techniques – a must.
• Excels at multitasking, time management, and documentation.
• Experience with laboratory automation instruments – Advantage.
• HPLC/uHPLC – Advantage
• Experience with down-stream processes - Advantage
