Vice President Marketing

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the company’s overarching marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. Translate these strategies into actionable workflows and tasks for the marketing team.
• Motivate the marketing team to achieve excellence by fostering a culture of innovation and success.
• Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Demand Generation / Digital

• Coordinate and optimize marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads and support revenue growth.
• Utilize expertise across various marketing channels, including online advertising, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), social media, and demand generation tools, to design and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with teams to create compelling content, impactful design, and engaging social media campaigns.

Product Marketing

• Plan and execute marketing strategies for our products or services, effectively positioning them in the market.
• Drive clear product messaging and differentiation to empower our sales teams.

Brand Management

• Set the market positioning and messaging, ensuring brand awareness and perception within our target markets.
• Develop a compelling brand narrative that distinguishes 8fig from competitors.

• Work closely with sales, product development, and other relevant departments to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.

Qualifications

·      12+ years of marketing leadership experience, including as VP of Marketing or CMO level

·      Proven track record driving growth marketing strategies and campaigns from inception to execution

·      Expert in B2B marketing across multiple channels like digital, content, events, etc.

·      Strong leadership skills to build, mentor and motivate high-performing teams

·      Data-driven approach using metrics, A/B testing, and marketing analytics

·      Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to inspire internal and external audiences

·      Prior experience leading marketing for a SaaS/technology company
