Air Defence Systems Engineer

ELTA is hiring an Air Defence Systems Engineer.

What will you do:

• System specification.
• Customer requirement acquisition.
• System design definition and approval of the design implementation throughout the project.
• Collaboration with peers.

The role is highly challenging and fulfilling! The Systems Engineer is at the decision-making center and has a significant impact on the project.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Aeronautics/Electro-Optics/Physics/Exact Sciences - Mandatory.
• Advanced degree in these fields - a significant advantage.
• At least 3 years of system engineering experience - Mandatory.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary systems - Mandatory.
• High-level English proficiency (writing, reading, and speech) - Mandatory.
• Experience working with Matlab or Python.
• Experience and knowledge in command and control systems - Advantage.
• Experience in security systems - Advantage.
• Willingness to travel abroad for work.
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly, work under pressure, and multitask.
• Teamwork skills, high analytical ability, systemic insight, and creative problem-solving.

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the entire engineering aspect of system specification, client requirement acquisition, system design definition, and approval of design implementation throughout the project, all while managing peers. The role is highly challenging and rewarding, placing the employee at the decision-making center and having a significant impact on the project. This is a broad role that allows for leading large and challenging projects in the field of command and control. We develop complex security systems such as Iron Dome and Arrow systems. Working as a Systems Engineer exposes you to the most advanced technologies in the field with professional leadership and interfaces with other areas such as algorithms, software, signal processing, and more. The work is part of a multitasking, challenging, problem-solving environment and contributes to the development of advanced systems.
