Head Of QA Guild

Job Description

As the Head of the QA Guild, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the quality processes and strategies across the organization. You will lead a team of QA professionals, develop and implement quality standards, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our products and processes, both pre and post-production.

• Manage a professional guild of 120 QA engineers with various levels of QA expertise
• Build and lead the guild vision according to the changing needs of Wix Engineering and the constantly evolving tech industry
• Share knowledge and facilitate a global community of QA engineers across Wix for more effective collaboration and camaraderie
• Provide tools, training, methodologies and opportunities for QA engineers
• Collaborate closely with Devs, Ops and Product teams as well as other business units at Wix.
• Define and evolve the role of a QA specialist
• Support cross-company integration projects
  
  

Qualifications:

• Excellent cross-organizational collaboration and leadership skills and experience in managing a globally distributed workforce
• 8+ years of proven track record in managing tech experts on a large scale
• Proficient tech skills and understanding of QA and a Front End development and production environment as well as a technical background in complex systems
• Proven record of change management and making an impact on a large-scale
• Experience in working in B2C or B2B2C
• Ability to inspire and motivate team members to perform at their highest standards and grow professionally

We manage the quality of Wix products by working closely with developers, product managers and management, reviewing and sharing our risk analysis while continually testing, monitoring and reassessing our products, both pre and post-production.
