Data Engineer

A global company that develops an innovative and profitable real estate platform based on AI. The company has developed a smart platform for accessing information during the process of buying a property, providing comprehensive information on real estate in Israel, including detailed neighborhood reviews, demographics, actual purchase prices of properties, and more.

As part of the role, managing a team of 4 people, including hands-on work of 30%, development in Python in an AWS environment, and utilizing advanced technologies. The company employs 150 workers (130 of them in Israel), located in Tel Aviv (near the train line), and offers remote work options a few days a week. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Data engineering team.
• Architect, own, and manage the data warehouse and infrastructure, ensuring data quality, integrity, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, define data strategies, and deliver clear timelines.
• Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes for accurate and timely data ingestion.
• Lead product and business related data analysis to support decision makers.
• Provide infrastructure and support for data scientists and business analysts to leverage data effectively.
• Stay ahead of the curve in data technologies and trends, proposing and implementing innovative solutions

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Team Lead/management position.
• 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Experience in B2C platform data analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Proven success in building and managing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Airflow, Redshift, Looker (or other equivalent technologies).
• Experience in programming with Python.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (k8s).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Strategic thinking and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
