Senior Backend Engineer

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Software Engineer to lead backend engineering and APIs connectivity to our end to end -user experience / look and feel of the product. Our technology stack is based on AWS managed services and serverless architecture. Therefore, an extensive understanding of AWS / Cloud technologies is necessary.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Backend engineering lead as part of frontend, backend, and data analytics team
• End to end ownership of a SaaS backend/API
• Build backend infrastructure and connectivity
• Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering
• Experienced with Enterprise Software / SaaS applications
• Experienced with CI/CD systems and test methodologies
• Knowledge and hands-on experience around AWS / Cloud technologies
• Development experience with Java/Kotlin or Node.js
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
• Attention to details
