Food Safety Manager

Are you passionate about ensuring food safety standards while driving continuous improvement? Join our team as a Food Safety Manager in the Corporate Quality Unit, where you will lead processes and routines to enhance food safety across our operational sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead processes and routines to continuously improve food safety across various sites.
• Implement and enforce organizational policies, updates, and guidelines regarding food safety across all division sites.
• Ensure compliance with established routines and track the execution of tasks formulated during food safety team meetings at sites.
• Monitor the implementation of HACCP plans at all sites.
• Oversee sanitation and pest control plans at sites.
• Develop training programs in food safety, sanitation, and pest control.
• Provide support during food safety incidents in the field and analyze deviations, including corrective actions.
• Accompany external auditors and assess the effectiveness of food safety systems.
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions in the field of food safety.
• Monitor compliance with food safety metrics (drills, audits, and corrective actions).
• Draft, update, and review work instructions and related documents in the field (management control forms, flowcharts, risk surveys).
• Travel frequently to various sites.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a relevant field (Life Sciences, Biology, etc.).

Minimum of 8 years of cumulative experience in the quality field, including 3 years of experience in food safety.

At least 2 years of managerial experience, including 1 year as an HACCP team leader.

Experience conducting investigations.

Familiarity with regulations and regulatory requirements - an advantage.

Experience conducting internal audits and required certifications - an advantage.
