Chief Operating Officer - Footwear Company

We are a young and dynamic footwear company, committed to delivering innovative and high-quality products to our customers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our company and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company's day-to-day operational functions, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and policies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage and optimize the company's supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing operations, with a focus on working with manufacturers in China and Vietnam.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure sound financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce costs.
• Foster strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
• Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Work closely with the CEO and other executive team members to develop and execute the company's strategic plan.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior operations role, ideally within the footwear or apparel industry.
• Strong background in manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain management.
• Experience working with manufacturers in China and Vietnam is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work remotely and manage a distributed team.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
