Job Description Summary
This is a eadership role within the CEE MMS Hub leadership team, responsible for driving profitable growth of MMS business in Eastern Europe through exemplary team leadership and sales execution in a dynamic and complex environment.
The role holder provides inputs to the country business strategy, develops commercialization strategy, and translate it into tactical execution plans. Leads, coaches, and develops the country sales team and continuously strives to advance selling capabilities.
As a member of the country cross functional management team, the Hospital Business Manager MMS is a key stakeholder in representing the BU in the local initiatives and decision-making process.
This role contributes to, as well as leads, programmes to drive commercial excellence, including Go To Market (GTM) models, Value Based Selling, Sales Excellence and external stakeholder engagement. Well developed leadership skills, strong business acumen, strategic thinking capabilities, and the ability to effectively influence and align with key internal and external stakeholders are required.

Responsibilities
Commercial operations
- Contributes to the Country & Hub MMS Strategy.
- Manages the commercialization strategy, in line with the Country and EMEA strategy.
- Drives the regional targets achievement focusing on the pre-defined growth drivers and opportunities managed by her/his sales team.
- Is accountable for the successful implementation of the local annual business plan.
- Drives and leads the business to achieve and exceed expectations.
- Makes sure the needed input is clear to update forecasts on time and accurately.
- Define sales KPIs. Ensures right business analytics are in place and monitored on time and accurately.
- Provides leadership and coaches own organization with special focus on:
- Leading the team of Sales Reps/Account Managers and/or Regional Sales Managers to deliver results; ensures aligned sales standards, drives commercial excellence, and is a change management leader
- Recruiting, retaining, and developing talented people.
- Constantly reviewing & upgrading knowledge, skills, and engagement levels of the team.
- Ensuring adequate and timely compliance with critical HR processes (PMP, HRP, etc…) and local legislation.
- Optimizing the country structure and talent pool.
- Building the organization bench strength and creating organization flow.
- Develops appropriate understanding of local customer needs through ongoing interaction with key accounts and key customers
- Builds relationship with key stakeholders such as KOL’s, trade associations, and professionals in new markets.
- Represents the company at the C-Suite level conversations.
- Identifies and develops new local business opportunities to accelerate and sustain ongoing sales growth
- Works closely with marketing and customer success teams to ensure coordinated execution of marketing plans and a best in class customer journey and experience.
- Significant experience and/or knowledge of Life Science/Medical Devices environment (preferably within capital equipment selling)
- Business acumen and organizational awareness
- Established track record to successfully lead sales organizations and drive commercial excellence
- In-depth-knowledge of local markets
- Strategic thinking and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans
- Ability to deal with high C-suite and other high-level HC Stakeholders
- Fluent in spoken and written English, any other European language is a plus
- Natural hands-on team leader and influencer
- Role model in servant leadership, develops and empowers teams and individuals
- Process oriented and computer savvy
- Action oriented, drive for results, and gets things done
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and act when limited information is available
