Senior Program Manager - Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps

Cloud Apps and Identity Research team is covering multiple SaaS based threat scenarios, including attacks against non-Microsoft services (e.g. Google Workspace). Among the attacks, Cloud Based Ransomware, Email and Files extortion, Business Email Compromise and related Nation State activity.

Qualifications

• You have Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in program or project management, ideally in the field of SaaS Security of Security for AI.
• Experience in Incident response or cyber security
• Experience with query language: KQL, SQL or similar
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check
• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

As the Technical program Manager for Security Threat Research, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our security solutions for AI and driving the content and quality of SaaS Security product. You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including data scientists, security analysts, engineers, and other project managers, to protect our clients' digital assets through cutting-edge AI-driven security solutions. In addition, the ideal candidate should possess strong coaching skills, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for professional growth within the team. Responsibilities: - Collaborate and drive a team of threat researchers and partner with engineers and product teams globally, in the development and content creation of SaaS Security and Security for AI solutions for Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps. - Create and maintain program and project plans, timelines, and KPI to ensure successful delivery in the field of SaaS Security and Security for AI. - Create and execute a SaaS app threat research quality program and process to maintain detection and response quality along time. - Define scope, objectives, deliverables, risks, and mitigation, and regularly review progress against these targets. - Provide guidance and coaching, contributing to an inclusive environment and a growth mindset. - Act as a technical advisor to partner, educate and evangelize on future directions.
