ProFuse Technology is a technology company specializing in the development of muscle cultivation solutions for the cultivated meat and life science industries. Our products include cell lines, media supplements, and cultivation methods. ProFuse's technology is based on six years of research conducted at the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Our flagship product, PROFUSE-S1, is a differentiation media supplement that accelerates the differentiation, fusion, and maturation rate of muscle progenitor cells. By utilizing PROFUSE-S1, muscle studies can be conducted more efficiently, resulting in faster muscle generation and reliable and conclusive results.

Our products are used by cultivated meat companies to streamline their production processes and achieve cost-effective and nutritious cultivated meat. Additionally, companies in the life science sector benefit from our technology for the cultivation of in vitro muscle models in drug discovery and tissue engineering.

Established in 2021, ProFuse received seed investment from leading industry and financial investors. In 2022, we secured an additional $3 million in seed funding with Green-Circle, a New York-based foodtech fund, leading the round.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Manager located in Yokneam Ilit.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the complete interaction of ProFuse with its supply chain. More specifically:

(1)  Managing the lab inventory by creating purchase orders for lab materials and equipment both domestically and internationally

(2) The role involves day-to-day tasks related to assessing supplier capabilities, negotiating favorable contract terms, analyzing market trends, and managing procurement activities to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations. 

Working with the full spectrum of the ProFuse suppliers and overlooking orders, supply and payment processes

(3) Working with all ProFuse suppliers (non-lab suppliers as well) and overlooking orders, supply and payments  

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in biotechnology/biology or other relevant field - mandatory!
2. Experience in managing biological lab inventory
3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills
4. Proficiency in English
5. Proficiency with Microsoft office 
6. Proficiency with Lab-Guru system
