As a DBA Team Lead you will be responsible for:

• Lead, recruit and mentor a team of talented DBAs
• Lead the adoption of everything as code in the DB domains from provisioning via configuration to having robustly scalable and stable & monitored DB.
• Developing our database strategy for proactive performance, tuning and high availability in a 24x7 production environment.
• Managing Development, Test, QA and Production databases and implementing future MySQL and MongoDB DB enhancements to meet the business needs of the end-users.
• Scaling and anticipating requirements, database capacity planning for scalable growth and performance
• Working with the development teams to identify and resolve issues, and to ensure database changes adhere to best practices and are properly prioritized and scheduled
• Responsibility for configuration, maintenance, upgrade, and patching procedures.
• Conducting and managing periodic on-call duties

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on as a DBA
• Proficiency with MySQL databases (version 8.x)
• Experience with partitioning, replication, multi-level security, clustering, distributed transactions, OLTP & OLAP
• Experience / Knowledge with MongoDB
• Extensive knowledge of SQL programming and optimization
• Database and Application performance tuning
• Linux system knowledge
• Experience with cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure )
• Fluent English
• 2+ years in a lead/management position
• 3+ years of experience with IaC - Terraform/Cloud formation/Ansible/Chef/Puppet

Advantages
