Product Manager

CyberWell is seeking a Product Manager to take our tech nonprofit to the next level technically! This position is flexible, available in an 80% to full-time capacity, and is available for immediate start. We work in a hybrid format and are in our Tel Aviv office Mon-Wed.

About Us

CyberWell is a start-up nonprofit with technology at its core. In May 2022 we launched the first ever open database dedicated to fighting online antisemitism across social media platforms at app.cyberwell.org. We are dedicated to driving the enforcement and improvement of community standards and hate speech policies across the digital space to get Jew-hatred removed at scale. CyberWell is the premier research, identification, and monitoring center for driving online antisemitism compliance across social media platforms in multiple languages, globally.

About You

You have experience in product management with strong technical skills and a love for optimizing big data systems. You either have experience in or the desire to learn how to implement algorithmic solutions as part of data management and work processes. You are open-minded and flexible and enjoy using your technical skills for good in a friendly startup environment!

Responsibilities of your job include

You will work directly with the CEO and Head of Research, as well as multiple third-party service providers (web developers, engineers, and consultants). You will be responsible for the holistic product development and cohesion of multiple data systems and optimization processes. 

• Own the entire product lifecycle from design to evaluation.
• Lead product development and improvement of current product.
• Identify and create new systems and tools, both internally and externally, that will support the fight against online hate and antisemitism with data and trend analysis.
• Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades and optimization etc.).
• Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects and security policies.
• Coordination, integration and working with relevant service providers to ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses.
• Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of related experience or relevant degree* and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
• High-level Hebrew and ability to work in an English-speaking office environment
• Background in data science (advantage)
• Familiarity with big data management and integrity of data (advantage)
• Interest and experience with statistics and machine learning tools (advantage)
• Algorithmic testing/prompting and implementation (advantage)
