Team Leader & Senior Developer - AI Financial Products

Empire Media, a pioneer in developing financial information products, is looking for an experienced Developer for AI driven applications. This role is centered on crafting AI-driven solutions in the financial sector, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to make financial information accessible and insightful.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI-driven products.
• Hands-On Development: Initially, actively participate in developing AI and maintaining AI-driven products, demonstrating strong coding skills and best practices.
• Leadership & Strategy: Lead and manage the AI team, setting project goals, timelines, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
• Keep abreast of the latest AI, machine learning, and fintech advancements.
• Analyze large datasets for insights relevant to financial products.
• Ensure AI application performance through testing and optimization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in managing a development team and leading projects hands-on.
• Experience in designing and developing large scale systems.
• 2+ years of experience in Python.
• Business oriented and data driven.
• Deep understanding of strong Computer Science fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures systems, applications programming and multithreading programming
• 2+ years programming experience in backend (Node.js or equivalent) or frontend (JavaScript or React) and good fullstack knowledge in both technologies.
• Familiar with Front-end tech stack: mainly HTML, CSS and Vanilla JS
• Proven ability to lead and passion to mentor
• BSc in computer science or equivalent
• Familiarity with development methodologies
• Fluent English skills

Preferred Additional Qualifications (Bonus Skills):

• Experience with working with LLM API libraries (OpenAI, Claude, Hugging Face)
• Experience with vector databases and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Git and other version control systems.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash.
• Understanding of Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models, NLP, and related research.
• CI/CD tools experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI), automated testing, and deployment of machine learning models.
