System Analyst

We are seeking a skilled COBOL Systems Analyst to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing COBOL systems and providing insights and solutions to enhance their functionality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing COBOL systems to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for system enhancements or modifications.
• Design and develop solutions to address identified issues or requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct testing and debugging to verify the effectiveness and reliability of implemented solutions.
• Provide technical support and assistance to users and developers as needed.
• Stay updated on COBOL best practices and emerging technologies to continually improve system performance and functionality.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

-Minimum of 3 years of experience analyzing COBOL systems.

-Proficiency in COBOL programming language for code reading and analysis.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
