Applied Researcher (NLP, LLMs)

We’re seeking a top-notch Applied Researcher with broad experience across different data science domains and solid coding skills. Building on the success of the deepchecks open-source package and monitoring solution, we’ve expanded our offering to provide state-of-the-art validation to LLM-based applications. In this role, you will be in charge of developing these abilities which include fine-tuning of LLMs and training BERT-based models, working with similarity-based algorithms, training classical models, and more. Deepchecks deals with a wide range of data domains with various challenges, most of which have no “textbook solution”. As a data scientist in a startup whose product is designed for fellow data scientists and LLM engineers, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our product from a user’s point of view and engage with teams in different organizations.

• M.Sc. in a quantitative field
• At least 3 years of industry experience in ML Research / DS roles
• At least 1 year of industry experience with unstructured data
• Proven track record of excellence and ability to lead complex projects
• End-to-end skillset - able to own features from an idea stage, through design, architecture, coding, integration, and deployment
• Python proficiency and solid coding skills
• Product-driven mindset

• MLOps or Experience as a data engineer
