Algorithm Engineer (video compression, modem)

An innovative Israeli center of a well based company is looking for an Algorithm engineer

to be part of developing a top notch technology systems focuses on the fields of digital communication, signal processing and video compression.

The job includes:

• Matlab and C based simulations of newly innovated algorithms.

• Design Review and selection of algorithms.

• Fixed point design.

• Writing algorithmic specs to the implementation teams (HW/SW).

• Once the algorithm is implemented, fine tuning of its parameters.

• Support and debug different problems which require deep understanding of the

algorithms and system.

• Keeping updated on new technologies, while reading technical literature (IEEE).

Requirements:

• MSc in electrical engineering,

(highly capable engineers with BSc degree will also be considered)

• 5+ years of experience as an algorithm engineer.

• Good understanding in at least one of the following (An advantage for both):

1. Digital signal processing.

2. Video compression such as H.265 - MUST !!

• Good understanding of Modems.

• Fluency in Matlab coding.

• Good system understanding.

• Fast and self-learning capabilities.
