We are looking for a talented and experienced FinOps to join our dynamic and growing team. This person will lead a newly established role of the FinOps in our RnD group.

You’ll have the opportunity to impact our group's success by providing insights that drive our financial strategies forward.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze cloud usage, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting on cloud expenditures, trends, and variances.
• Translating technical information into financial insights.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams and optimize infrastructure configurations, resource allocation, and implementation of cost-effective infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Advise regarding automation for scaling resources based on demand to maximize efficiency.
• Follow up of industry best practices in both FinOps and DevOps
• Ensure that cost management practices adhere to security and compliance standards.
• Maintain documentation on cost management processes, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

• A successful candidate will have experience in Cloud cost management, cost optimization, and budgeting for 2+ years.
• Understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis, coupled with the ability to apply these concepts to cloud cost management.
• Familiar with in DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC). Terraform is an advantage and automated deployment.
• Knowledge of major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS and Azure) and experience implementing and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with tools and practices for cloud cost optimization. Ability to identify and implement cost-saving measures in cloud environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for analyzing financial and technical data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial and technical information to diverse audiences. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively with DevOps, Finance, SRE, and other teams to align financial goals with technical objectives and optimize cloud resources.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, staying updated on FinOps and DevOps best practices, and obtaining relevant certifications.

Requires a professional who can bridge the gap between financial management and technical operations, contributing to efficient, cost-effective, and secure cloud environments.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master's or MBA) are advantageous
• 2+ years of Experience in DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployment - Advantage
• 2+ years of proven knowledge and hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure – Must.
