Research Technician – Tissue culture

A company located in Yokneam and developing extracellular vesicles (EVs) based oncology therapy is looking for a full-time cell culture process technician. Starting immediately.

Job Description:

The technician will master the art of tissue culture, microscopy, EVs harvesting and purification. Expected to work both independently and as a team member with investigators and other technicians.

Duties and responsibilities

Please note, Specific responsibilities may vary based upon company needs.

• Prepares basic solutions and performs base-level procedures as assigned (i.e. pipetting, cell and tissue culture)

• Maintains laboratory notebook.

• Understands and applies basic scientific techniques.

• Sets up and prepares routine experiments as directed.

• Prepares lab reagents, chemicals, instruments and maintains equipment.

• Maintains and orders supplies.

• Executes protocols of non-routine experiments.

• Perform basic design and modification of protocols.

• Prepare and present reports.

Key requirements

• B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biology or Chemistry and 2-4 years of relevant industry experience.

• Familiarity with GMP processes.

• Experience in mammalian and/or avian cell culture (Flasks/bioreactors,

• Hands-on: aseptic techniques, subculture, cryopreservation, transfections, media preparation.

• Ability to work in a team.

• Responsible, organized and independent

• Ability to perform multiple tasks independently.

• Technical English is required; Russian is a plus.
