V&V Engineer (student)

About the Role:

FIZE kUO is a non-invasive digital system intended for use in the drainage of urine and in the assessment of renal function of patients with an indwelling Foley catheter.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic 4th year Biomedical Engineering (or similar) student to join the R&D team and support it’s Verification & Validation project. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of an intimate and experienced R&D team, developing a multidisciplinary medical device.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of V&V plans for our device, following established standards and regulations.
• Conduct literature reviews to gather information on relevant standards and regulations.
• Actively participate in the creation and execution of robust test protocols and procedures, ensuring they effectively evaluate device safety, performance, and functionality.
• Analyse test data and identify potential risks and non-conformities.
• Document V&V activities meticulously and comprehensively, following established company procedures to maintain clear and accurate records.
• General support for ongoing and new R&D projects

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a 4th-year student in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and well-organized documents, including reports, test plans, and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
