Chief Operating Officer

WAY2VAT is a fast-growing Fintech traded organization that provides multiple financial instruments including a fully automated VAT reclaim solution for businesses through revolutionary AI technology.

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced COO to join our organization who will play an integral and critical role in shaping our operational strategy, enhancing our internal processes and driving growth. This position requires a leader with a proven track record in the fintech industry, capable of navigating the complexities of financial technologies and markets.

The COO will work closely with the CEO to develop and implement operations across the business, manage resources effectively, and ensure the company achieves its financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities:

·      Act as a key member of the company's management.

·      Collaborate with the CEO and other C-level executives to set company goals, performance metrics, and long-term strategic plans.

·      Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients (mainly enterprises) to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.

·      Understand customer outcomes through ongoing collection and analysis of data and feedback and turn this into onboarding, retention, and revenue strategies as well as feed into the product road map.

·      Lead the customer success team and data operation team in a dynamic startup environment, provide leadership and direction to teams.

·      Promote a high-performance culture and a collaborative work environment, while setting ambitious performance metrics and KPI’s to uphold exceptional service standards.

·      Manage the Financial Operation team/unit, collection from clients and Tax Authorities.

·      Manage the compliance issues with different Jurisdictions.

·      Manage the Operational team globally (Israel, Spain and Romania)

·      Supporting the CEO in M&A process (Buy side)

·      Provide the right policy, processes and KPI’s for each unit/team

·      Work closely with sales and product teams to identify new business opportunities and support revenue growth within the existing customer base.

·      Conduct comprehensive onboarding and training for enterprise clients, emphasizing our fintech product feature.

·      Identify and mitigate risks that could affect customer satisfaction and retention.

·      Drive the company's financial performance by optimizing operations and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

·      Strategize and implement renewal and upsell processes tailored to enterprise clients, aiming for account growth and increased engagement.

·      Provide detailed reports on customer success outcomes and forecast to senior management.

·      Stay up-to-date with industry trends and challenges to address customers’ needs proactively.

·      Serve as the voice of the customer and provide feedback to the product development team on how to innovate and improve our products.

Qualifications:

·      Master’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field

·      Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role in a technology company (Director, VP or C level)

·      Experience managing a team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

·      Proven track record of success in managing and optimizing operational processes.

·      Strong understanding of platform business models and operational excellence.

·      Expertise in converting strategic plans into operational execution.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·      Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.

·      Fluent English (Mother tongue level) is must.

This is a full-time position. The position will be based in our Petah Tikva Israel headquarters office.
