About you:
We are looking for dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Director to lead and develop our brand sales within the APAC region. The Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategies, and fostering relationships with distributors and key stakeholders. This role will require regular travel (once in 2-3 months) within the assigned Markets.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for accounts/distributors within defined territory-Omni Channel
- Sales Planning and Target Achievement: Develop comprehensive sales plans, including setting and achieving sales targets, in collaboration with distributors. Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure objectives are met. (Sell-Out and Sell–In).
- Budget Management and ensuring that financial resources are allocated strategically to support sales growth.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships (Distributors, Vendors, etc...).
- Work together with International/Asia Marketing teams to localize the marketing plans. - Coordinating marketing/promotional activities, supply chain supervision, and invoices, collaborating with the relevant cross-functional teams.
- Implement and oversee education strategies to enhance product knowledge and brand awareness among distributors/stylists in collaboration with the International/Asia Education team.
- Identify new opportunities in the markets, omni-channel, and work with the distributor and relevant corporate teams (Retail, eCommerce, etc..) to maximize them.
- Ensure all key accounts are well-merchandised and representative of brand standards.
- Promote and drive all programs, launches, and sales initiatives together with the distributors.
- Keep track of main competitors within the region and channel
- Pricing strategy and positioning.
- Reporting: Regularly provide detailed reports on sales performance, market insights, and progress towards targets to the Vice President of the region.
- Assist in coordination and planning of events and trade shows.
- Monitoring and management of distributor inventory.
Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree. M.A. – preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales roles working in the Global Consumer Product Goods industry , minimum 1-2 years in APAC area.
- At least 3 out of the 10 years in a Senior Sales Management position.
- Beauty Industry- Advantage.
- E-commerce Savvy.
- Experience within the professional cosmetics/ haircare industry- advantage
- Fluent in English, verbal & written.
