Automation Engineer

An Israeli hi-tech company specializing in the management and measurement of cyber threats, helping organizations defend themselves against cyber attacks. They provide both proactive and reactive defense – their platform identifies anomalies in real-time, indicating an active attack in the cloud environment. This enables them to detect and respond to attacks in real-time.

Role Description: Establishing automation infrastructures from scratch, initially performing 100% hands-on tasks. Managing four existing testers and recruiting automation engineers, with the programming language chosen by the employee. Reporting to the CTO.

The company, located in Tel Aviv (near the train station), follows a hybrid work model and employs 2500 employees globally, with 90 based in Israel.

Requirements-

• 5 years experience in automation testing, process improvement, or related fields.
• Tech stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python/Go/Node.js/Java development experience
• Strong understanding of automation technologies and methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience in developing scalable automation infrastructure
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a technical role, such as a tech lead or managerial position
• Strong hands-on skills - writing tests, code reviews, CI/CD tools - Must
• Knowledge in cybersecurity, cloud security, Deep understanding of cloud platforms associated security measures.
