Big Data Developer

An established and stable Israeli hi-tech company specializing in Ad-Tech has developed a product that simplifies the decision-making process. Their platform creates a website that consolidates the ten most accurate search results according to Google.

The role is part of a team reporting to the CTO. The technological stack includes JAVA, PYTHON, AWS, Spark, Kafka, Hive Metastore, Airflow, and Iceberg.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv (near the train station), the company follows a hybrid work model with two days working from home. The team consists of 400 employees.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience in Scala/Java or equivalent language.

• Experience with Python.

• Proven experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale big data pipelines using popular open-source frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Hive Metastore, Airflow, Iceberg, etc).

• Strong SQL abilities and hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL DBs.
