We are currently expanding our team and looking for a key player to join our Globalfoundries Field Application Team.

Your job:

For this technical sales-oriented Field Applications Engineering role, your responsibilities will include driving strategic customer design win opportunities that GLOBALFOUNDRIES can service, and managing customer technical relationship from Lead through a successful Tape Out.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

• Serve as key technical interface and coordinate technical interaction.
• Drive Israel region design win acquisition strategy and process.
• Develop customized technical presentations and proposals to assist customers in the evaluation of our solutions. Formulate customer requirements, promote a compelling GLOBALFOUNDRIES design solution and convey our value proposition.
• Identify and propose solutions to gaps in the GLOBALFOUNDRIES product and service portfolio to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with GLOBALFOUNDRIES Business Unit / Design Solutions / Technology Development teams, and provide real time customer feedback.
• Understand local competitive design/ technology/ product landscape including emerging technology trends and competitive threats.
• Continuously learn about the customer and product, developing relationships, gathering intelligence, uncovering new opportunities.
• Ensure that issues/ obstacles/ questions to a design win are resolved either directly or by engaging internal experts. Manage critical customer programs as they relate to the design process inside GLOBALFOUNDRIES.
• Overcome internal system/communication limitations through persistency, identifying and driving towards applicable solution.
• Gather, summarize and drive team to close the technical gaps in our offerings that result in design win losses and/or misses in new revenue opportunities.
• Meet design win and tape out related goals

Your profile:

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with several years of experience as VLSI or/and RFIC Designer
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sales aptitude
• Customer facing and Technical Sales experience are a must
• Persistent and focused on solution when encountering internal system/communication obstacles.
• Knowledge of product design and required IP blocks
• Exposure and competence in design environment/ enablement flows and tools
• Network to Semiconductor clients and design database
• Exposure to RF/Analog/NVM desirable
• Program management skills and experience are highly desirable
• Excellent English language is a must
• Hebrew Fluent

This position is based in Modiin, Israel
