Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist, reporting to the Procurement and Business Ops Director, to lead our technological procurement activities. This role will be the primary point of contact for all Israel region spend and will oversee category management for Outbrain’s technology suite. The role will also have ownership for the procurement and operations of vendor agreements and purchasing procedures for their designated spend area.

A day in the life

• Oversee the P2P cycle for the tech category, encompassing budgeting, sourcing, negotiation, vendor management, contracting, and cost reduction projects.
• Manage RFI, RFP, contract summary, and management presentations and reports.
• Resolve P2P issues in collaboration with Legal, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury and AP.
• Develop and implement category strategy for the technology suite.
• Foster internal and external relationships to understand and meet budget and company needs, define SLAs, and monitor vendor/partner relationships.
• Conduct and oversee individual sourcing projects from inception to completion.
• Contribute to a global team by participating in process building for a new and growing department and aligning with global sourcing and purchasing standards.
• Support ad-hoc contracting requests, manage renewals, and monitor contracting needs.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 3-5 years in a relevant Procurement or Operations role.
• Proficiency in English and Hebrew with the ability to balance global and local requirements.
• Strong data modeling and analytics skills.
• Exceptional project management skills and documentation abilities.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience or aptitude to understand contract language.
• Experience in the tech market, particularly with HW, cloud providers, consultants, and integration companies, will be considered an advantage.
