Job Role: Data Center Operations

Job Location: Kfar Sava Office (7 Atir Yeda St, Kfar Saba 44425)

Job Type: Permanent

Additionally, there may be a need to travel to Tefen or Omer sites for resolving issue but the main location is Kfar.

In Scope Services for Data Center Hands and Feet

The primary objective of the Data Center Hands and Feet support is to provide WDT with a

Stable, Predictable And Reliable Environment That Includes

Onsite physical infrastructure support and management

Technical support services that meet or exceed SLA's (Service Level Agreements)

Effective handling of events and incidents

Accurate infrastructure documentation

The primary responsibility of Data Center Hands and Feet support is to provide core

operations delivery

(management and administration) for the in-scope Data Center Hands and Feet

support Infrastructure. The

Support Functions To Include

Provide onsite infrastructure support (8x5 and after hours as required)

Installation and de-installation of physical equipment

Respond and manage service requests

Asset lifecycle management (Commissioning/De-commissioning/Ewaste)

Troubleshooting of cabling to include both copper and fiber.

Routine maintenance (e.g. backup systems support)

Services Provider/Field Engineer coordination

Accurate asset and cabling documentation (e.g. DCIM Application / Visio)

Monitor data center environment

Vendor will provide Data Center Hands and Feet support in a manner that will

achieve the following

Objectives And Results

8x5 onsite support and after hours support as required

Completion of service requests within documented SLA's

Inventory, and install client hardware such as server, storage, and network devices into

client racks.

Installation of cabling and cable organization. client standards, to include labeling.

Troubleshooting and diagnostics of hardware of servers, switches.

Perform replacement of DIMMs, hard drives, power supplies and other components

within server, storage, and network devices.

Perform commissioning and decommissioning of hardware.

Installation of data center infrastructure materials including racks and cabinets w/

grounding, cable tray and ladder, cable management, copper and fiber networking

cable, copper and fiber patch panels and any other materials necessary for data center

operations.

Perform installation and maintenance on Power Distribution Units within client

enclosures.

Work SNOW or Service Now ticketing system, providing clear, timely, and appropriate

customer communications.

Regularly communicate with employees, contractors, and clients via phone, email, or

ticketing system. Join call bridges to troubleshoot and validate infrastructure related

issues.

Adhere to Change Control Processes and Standards

Escort and Support 3rd party vendor activities.

Process all tickets within SLA guidelines and follow procedural requirements.

Travel to remote Data Center and colo location for maintenance of Data Center.

Interface with Nlyte Data Center application to configure new devices or remove them.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.
