Senior Backend Engineer

• Collaborate with the Frontend, UX and the Product Management engineers to design, develop, and publish.
• Develop and maintain the micro services that form the backend side of the product.
• Collaborate daily with other engineers and stakeholders to solve complex problems in an evolving environment using a combination of your domain knowledge and your skills as an engineer.
• Learn and grow new skills while contributing learnings in a team environment, so we can all grow and thrive together.
• Obsess over quality in the code you write and the product you create.
  
  

• University BSc in computer science or software engineering
• 5+ years of proven experience as software engineer
• Proficient in Java and/or Scala
• Developing high scale systems – under microservice architecture
• Developing containerized applications for cloud environments
• Experience with continuous integration tools
• Experience with any of the following cloud service providers - AWS, Azure or Google
• Strong knowledge in OOD/OOP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work without supervision
  
  

• Experience in multithreading, performance and memory optimizations
• Experience working with Kubernetes
• Experience with Python/Spring Boot
