We’re growing and are currently looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team, and help us create a real impact through the development of complex production systems for Walmart’s end-users, while handling massive amounts of data.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering in production-grade high-scale applications that analyze massive amounts of data and turn them into valuable insights for millions of Walmart’s website daily users
• Full ownership of features - from inception through design and coding, eventually bringing your feature to production at a high level of quality
• Continuously improve the quality of our software, adopting best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing and documentation
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the site in Israel and stakeholders at Walmart’s HQ in California
• Contribute to the team's efforts in maintaining a reliable, error-free, and high-performance platform
• Contribute to the support of our applications in production, including responding to and handling incidents if they may occur
• Take an active part in our Scrum processes, Design reviews, brainstorming and knowledge-sharing sessions
  
  

• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in server-side development in varied technologies (Java - advantage)
• Experience in developing scalable and distributed systems (Microservices architecture - advantage)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Product oriented, passionate about impacting users by creating new abilities and functionalities
• Passionate about developing high quality code, and able to deliver clean and effective designs to solve complex problems
• Experience working with databases (NoSQL - advantage)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Result driven, reliable, and accountable
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
