R&D Scrum Master

We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team! As a scrum master, you’ll be responsible for a full-stack scrum team within one of our main R&D groups in Viber.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers
• Lead an agile team, coordinate and facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily standup, pre-planning/planning, retrospect, etc.
• Conduct constant project monitoring, risk management, and mitigation to ensure delivery on time while not compromising on quality
• Anticipate and spot impediments, prevent or remove them in order to maintain consequent work-flow and optimized performance
• Bridge the gap between strategic and tactical goals, helping create work plans that support a high-performing team
• Facilitate and bridge dependencies with external teams and stakeholders
  
  

• 2 years experience as a Scrum Master/ R&D Team Leader with proven successful projects - a must
• 2 years of Hands-On experience with Go or similar backend language
• Extensive experience working in agile teams and a deep understanding of agile principles, practices, and values
• Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal communication and mentoring skills
• Proactive, resourceful, a quick learner with a flexible and inventive approach to work
• Methodological, process-oriented approach aiming for constant improvement
• Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary and globally distributed teams
• Strong English proficiency
• B.Sc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering and Management, or similar
• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Advanced Roadmap, Product discovery)
• Knowledge of team productivity metrics (velocity, lead/cycle time, scope creep, done rate, gantt charts) and ability to use data for optimizing flows and team performance
  
  

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
• Experience with Vue.js development language
