We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our users with a range of technologies, including Office 365, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Apple devices, Poly multimedia equipment, and our internal ticketing system. You will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, providing first-line support, and escalating complex problems to senior IT team members. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in IT and a desire to learn and grow within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line IT support to users via phone, email, and in person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Office 365 applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Manage and support devices enrolled in our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.
- Configure and troubleshoot Apple devices (e.g., iPhones, iPads, Macbooks).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Poly multimedia equipment (e.g., headsets, video conferencing systems).
- Utilize our internal ticketing system to track, prioritize, and resolve user issues.
- Document solutions and knowledge base articles.
- Assist with IT projects as assigned.
- Stay up to date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role.
- Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced features.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions preferred.
- Familiarity with Apple device management and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Poly multimedia equipment a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for users, ensuring a positive experience.
