Job Description Summary We are looking for a Lead Mechanical to lead the Maintenance Mechanical team and scope at the Gilboa Pumped storage Job Description

• Accountable for mechanical support of planned and unplanned maintenance activities, outage preparation and associated administration tasks that are within the O&M contract .
• Plan, coordinate and execute planned maintenance activities, outages and inspections at the Plant .
• During planned or unplanned activities organize local subcontractors and suppliers, making sure all activities and engagements are executed according to GE processes and EHS requirements.
• Support implementation of quality tools and systems, designed for achieving contractual, technical and commercial obligations .
• Pro-actively support the Customer in accordance with the terms of the Contract and provide technical guidance when needed.
• Identify spare parts, control the Plants buffer stock and maintain the required stock availability, ensuring the timely availability of identified spare parts, consumables and tools for planned maintenance
• Analyze incident reports and operational data, and if necessary, recommend corrective actions.
• Lead, train and guide a team of Technicians, and periodically assess their ability and potential in relevant scope of work.
• Work closely with different stakeholders within the organization, locally and abroad, such as Procurement, Finance, Field Service and Engineering.
• Perform all work in accordance to EHS and quality regulations, GE’s spirit and letter and internal processes, as well as contractual obligations.
• Successfully combine office work with field work.
  
  

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Technician/Lead
• Substantial knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in the operation and maintenance of a Power Plant
• Previous experience leading a team
• Fluent Hebrew and English
• Willingness to work in confide places
• As the plant is an essential facility - Able to be an-call/work nights, weekends and holidays in case of emergencies
• Open to criticism, able to handle conflicts
• Hands on approach and ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrated communication & organizational skills
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities
• Proactive, service oriented and having a ‘’Can do’’ mindset
