Expert & Team Leader in Module-Level Power Electronics for Solar

• Lead a team to work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and formulate requirements for solar Module-level power electronics (MLPE, like optimizers), inverter systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Take charge of advanced technology insight, product planning, chip definition, and product definition. Assist in the development of the technology roadmap for next-generation solar MLPE products.
• Direct the research and development of novel Solar PV architecture and converter topologies, ranging from residential to utility PV plant scenarios.
• Innovate in the realm of DC/DC & DC/AC power conversion for MLPE and PV power converter systems.
• Oversee the design, verification, and validation of product concepts within R&D laboratories.
• Collaborate with external R&D Institutes and Universities to develop new converter and control algorithms for MLPE applications relevant to the digital power sector.
• Contribute novel ideas and secure them through IPR filings.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in power electronics, electrical and electronic engineering, or a closely related field in Research & Development.
• Extensive R&D experience in Module-level power electronics and ASIC chips for Solar.
• A strong theoretical understanding of basic power electronic converter principles, multi-level converters, magnetic component designs, power semiconductor devices (including wide bandgap devices), and power converter modulation & control.
• Demonstrated experience with new technology development initiatives and innovation, with publications in reputed journals.
• A high level of self-reliance with an autonomous, target-oriented work style, a “can do” attitude, eagerness to learn, and a willingness to think outside the box.
• Availability for occasional travel related to projects, seminars, conferences, etc.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
