As the Lead Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering customer-facing dashboards on Tableau Software that provide actionable insights and drive value for our clients. This role will include tasks such as generating Tableau dashboard reports, creating business intelligence reports and visualization, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and customer-facing teams.

• Lead and mentor a team of BI developers to design, develop, and maintain customer-facing dashboards and reports.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.

• Partner with developers on data requirements needed to support the build of data models.

• Driving the development of scalable and efficient Tableau dashboards, including defining metrics, engineering complex SQL queries, selecting appropriate data visualizations, and designing dashboards adhering to clear UX guidelines.

• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of dashboards to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security across all dashboards.

• Establish and enforce coding standards, documentation practices, and quality assurance processes within the BI team.

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for BI initiatives, including roadmap planning, resource allocation, and project prioritization.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in BI development and analytics.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role, with at least 3 years of experience in leading BI development projects.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.

• Extensive experience with Tableau Software.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
